At Simplon Maghreb, I coordinate technical training and develop tools for the organisation. Depending on the project, this means preparing a programme, supporting a trainer, assessing a project or building an application with the team.
Development is a substantial part of my work: websites, internal tools, automations and system configuration. I contributed to the redesign of simplon.ma, worked with Odoo and then ERPNext, helped develop our cohort management application and prepared bootcamp resources.
From coordination to coaching
I was the project coordinator for the launch and first cohort of École Numérique Ahmed Al Hansali in Béni Mellal. I also contribute to other Simplon programmes with the teams and partners, including JobInTech, Talent 4 Startups, YouCode and CCFBS.
In Agadir, I designed and taught the AI-assisted Laravel backend bootcamp from March to August 2026. Preparing the progression, exercises and projects, then supporting learners directly, complements my coordination work. I also take part in technical assessments of trainers and final-project juries, including a mission for the Orange Coding Academies in Jordan in May 2025.
Starting in the field
Before these assignments, I coordinated and facilitated coding and robotics workshops with associations across several regions of Morocco. The work went beyond the classroom: contacting associations, preparing groups and organising travel and equipment were part of the programme.
This continued the workshops I began in the Solicode club while studying web and mobile development in Tangier. The experience still informs how I teach: start with a practical activity, observe what people understand, then adjust.
Beyond work
I also write about the Laravel ecosystem, security and our relationship with technology. I’m interested in both what it makes possible and what it costs us. In the longer term, the idea of an agricultural project remains part of my plans.
