The idea

Mizan is a personal project for automatically grading bootcamp exercises. It connects two parts of my work: building software and supporting learning assessment.

Available work

The public repository contains the project’s code and documentation, with contributions in 2026. It provides a way to follow the experiment as it develops.

Current status

Mizan is a prototype in development: a space to experiment with exercise grading and technical assessment.

Automated assessment needs to be considered alongside understanding and human feedback. A correctly executed exercise does not, on its own, show a learner’s whole progression.
